Savannah Signature Sweets
1 lb. scallops
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup Southern Almond Mix
Sauté scallops, onions, mushrooms in butter until they are opaque. Transfer to a warm place. Add to the same skillet whipping cream and Southern Almond Mix. Simmer until mixture coats the back of a spoon. Add scallops back to pan until just heated through. Serve over yellow or white rice.
Break store bought angel food cake into bite size pieces. Fold cake into Terrific Whipped Topping. Serve in pretty dessert bowl. Drizzle with Almond Mix & toasted sliced almonds before serving. So light & airy!
With electric mixer whip until fluffy:
8oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup Almond Mix
Use as dip with apple slices, cookies or icing for cakes, bagels or waffles.
Saute 4 chicken breasts (boneless) in butter until lightly browned. Sprinkle with seasoning salt. Spoon 6T Almond Mix over chicken. Cover and
cook 10 min. Sprinkle with
silvered almonds. Enjoy!
